Watershed District

Stillwater Township is part of two watershed districts, each of which oversees a variety of projects and programs to assess and improve the health of water resources in the watershed.

 

The Carnelian-Marine-St. Croix Watershed District covers the northern part of the township. The district contains 31 lakes, three designated trout streams, hundreds of acres of wetlands and more than 17 miles of St. Croix River shoreline. more information

The Brown’s Creek Watershed District covers a small slice of the southern and western portion of the township.  more information

The Washington Conservation District is a
Washington County organization dedicated to enhancing, protecting and preserving the natural resources of Washington County through conservation projects, technical guidance, and educational services to citizens and local government. more information
