Park Committee

The Park Committee is a volunteer group of township residents that reviews the development and maintenance of the township's parks and trails and makes recommendations to the Town Board. The committee may manage special events that take place in the parks, such as the Township Picnic. The committee also administers the Friends of Stillwater Township Parks program, in which residents can make donations of trees and other items to improve and beautify township parks.

Residents can apply for open positions on the committee and must be approved by the Township Board. Terms are for three years.

Park Committee meetings are held at 7 p.m. at the Stillwater Township Hall on the second Monday of each month. Meetings are subject to cancellation, especially during winter months. The public is welcome at all meetings.
