Recreational Fires

Recreational fires are allowed in the township anytime as long as they are kept smaller
than a 3'X3'X3' pile.

The Community Service Administrator, Mark Caroon, at 651-706-4102 requests that you
notify him if you are planning on having a small fire because if the DNR imposes a last
minute burning ban or the state issues an Air Quality Alert warning, you can then be
contacted to put the fire out and avoid a possible fine.

You should never leave a recreational fire (or any fire) unattended.
