Spring weight restrictions for Washington County Highways in

effect March 3

Spring weight restrictions will go into effect on Washington County highways at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Restrictions will be in effect for eight weeks, unless extraordinary conditions require extending them. 

Any County highway without a posted weight limit is 10 tons per axle. 

During spring weight restrictions, Washington County does not issue permits for transport over the axle weight limit, except in cases of a serious public health emergency.

Washington County highway users may call 651-430-8355 for a recorded message with the latest spring weight restriction information.

These spring weight restrictions apply to Washington County highways and do not include city or township roads.
