Summer 2025 Construction Update

Overlay & FDR Project

  • Partridge Court Road North:
    Full depth reclamation construction is now scheduled to begin on May 19 (rescheduled from May 12). Work is expected to take approximately two weeks, and one lane will remain open for incoming and outgoing traffic. I’ve prepared notices for residents, which are attached to this email. I plan to distribute these notices to residents directly, and it would be helpful if they could also be posted on the Township website.
  • 100th Street North:
    Overlay work will take one day (date TBD), during the Partridge Court paving period, around June 5 or 6. I will keep residents informed as the schedule is confirmed.
  • 116th Street North:
    Similar to 100th Street, this overlay is expected to take one day, with work also likely occurring around June 5 or 6. I’ll continue to provide updates to residents.

Chip Seal Project

  • The contractor currently anticipates starting the week following the 4th of July. I’m awaiting confirmation on the exact project duration.
  • Affected roads include:
    Mayfield Avenue, Mayfield Ave Ct, 95th St, 90th St, Pawnee Avenue (north of 95th), Penfield Circle, Penfield Avenue SBS, Penfield Avenue N & 113th St, Penfield Ave Ct, Penfield Avenue CDS, Pawnee Avenue N, Pawnee Ct North, Otchipwe Ct, Orwell Avenue, Arcola Trail (from Croix Trail to 110th Street North), 105th St N, Quail Avenue, Arcola Trail Parcel 2350/4460' NE, and the Town Hall parking lot.
  • The contractor has submitted the signed Notice of Award, Contract, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Liability Insurance. I’ll be forwarding these documents to you in a separate email.

Striping Project

  • A formal request letter for striping in Stillwater Township has been sent to Washington County.
  • Roads included in the request:
    • Mended Road North (between Dellwood Road North and Manning Avenue North)
    • Stone Bridge Trail North (between Otchipwe Avenue North and Croix Trail North)
    • Arcola Trail North (between Croix Trail North and the Railroad Crossing)
    • 95th Street North (entire turn radius section)
  • The striping project is scheduled to take place between June 18 and July 25. Washington County has not yet awarded the contract, so exact dates when it will happen in Stillwater Township remain pending.
  • We’re coordinating with the Allied Blacktop Company and the County to clarify if Arcola Trail North (from Croix Trail to 110th Street North) and 95th Street can be seal coated before the striping work begins, as both are included in the chip seal and striping plans.
