Septic Systems and Private Wells

Stillwater Township does not have municiple sewer or water. Properties are served by septic systems and by private wells. Owners are responsible for maintaining their systems.

Wastewater systems collect and treat household waste on or near your property and need regular pumping and inspection to work properly. Wells should also be tested regularly to make sure your drinking water is safe.
